Mr. Card was elected to the Board of Education in 2019. He has been working and living in Daggett county since age 16, and currently resides in Dutch John. Charles is a father of three and loves spending family time in the mountains or at a fishing hole in Daggett county and surrounding areas. He believes that a good educational program is vital for children today, and a healthy, safe, and challenging learning experience should be presented to kids in our schools.

Ross Catron has lived in Manila since 1987. He worked for the Forest Service for 35 years and retired in 2013. He was appointed to fill a school board vacancy in December 2022 and has served on the board since. His wife, Becky, taught at Manila High School for 15 years. Their six of children went to the elementary and high school here in Manila. Mr. Catron has had a close relationship with Daggett School District has even helped out as a substitute teacher and an assistant coach. He believes that Daggett School District students, teachers, employees, and administrators are the very best. He looks forward to making sure that Daggett schools stay safe, that the facilities and technology continue to be the best that they can be, and to ensure that Daggett District kids continue to get a quality education and experiences that prepare them for success.
