Serving on the School Community Council
Invitation to serve on the council: We warmly invite parents to serve on our school's community council. Information about council vacancies, declarations of candidacy forms, and elections are emailed sent out in August of each year.
Serving on the Community Council is a wonderful way for parents and teachers to contribute and help improve academic performance at Flaming Gorge Elementary School. The school receives an annual dividend from the school trust lands. Our council decides how these funds will be used. The council reviews and prepares an academic plan for these funds and how they will benefit our students each year. All plans are reviewed for final approval by our school board.
