Secondary Language Arts Teacher

 

Daggett School District is seeking the services of a full-time teacher to work at Manila Junior/Senior High School.

 

Job Description:         Teach a full range of language arts classes grades 7-12

 

                                    The ability to teach other subjects would be extremely helpful; any other dual major/minor or extra-major skill would be beneficial.

 

                                    Full-time tenured position.--184 day contract

                                   

Qualifications:             Must have a BachelorŐs Degree with an English endorsement

 

                                    Must be licensed or willing to become licensed to teach in the State of Utah and be NCLB Highly Qualified

 

                                    Must have a working knowledge of the State Core

 

                                    All other qualifications being equal, preference will be given to persons with the ability to coach sports the school currently                                               sponsors:  baseball, cross country, volleyball, basketball, golf, track & field, or cheerleading

 

Salary:                         Appropriate placement on the 2008-2009 Teacher Salary Schedule

 

                                    Health, Life, & Disability Insurance and Retirement Benefits
